Overview
A growing investment management organization is seeking a Client Service Associate to join its Operations team. This individual will support client account administration, investment operations, reporting, and day-to-day servicing activities for a diverse client base.
The position offers exposure to multiple areas of the business, including client service, portfolio operations, reporting, cash management, and investment administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and interested in building a long-term career within financial services

This role works closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure operational excellence and a high level of client support.
Responsibilities:

Support senior team members with day-to-day client servicing and operational activities.

Assist with account maintenance, client requests, documentation, and administrative tasks.

Prepare client communications, reports, and supporting materials for review.

Monitor account activity and coordinate with custodians, administrators, and other third-party service providers.

Maintain client records and ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date.

Assist with onboarding activities, account updates, and compliance-related documentation.

Support the execution of investment transactions, cash movements, and other operational requests.

Review and process investment-related documentation and transaction instructions.

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure transactions are completed accurately and on time.

Track and maintain operational activity using internal systems and reporting tools.

Assist with the preparation and review of client reports, account statements, and other deliverables.

Support internal teams with presentations, reporting packages, and client meeting materials.

Respond to inquiries from clients and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.

Participate in process improvement initiatives and operational projects.

Assist with maintaining internal controls, policies, and compliance procedures.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.

2-4+ years of experience within financial services, operations, client service, asset management, or a related field.

Experience working in a structured financial services environment preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to investment operations, portfolio administration, trade support, or account management activities.

Experience working with custodians, fund administrators, brokerage platforms, or other financial service providers.

Exposure to alternative investments, private markets, or multi-asset investment environments is a plus.

Experience with CRM systems, portfolio accounting platforms, or operational reporting tools is beneficial.
