Client Strategy Manager (SEO, Google Ads & Web Projects) Remote-U.S. | Contract (1099) | Full-Time | EST Hours US Based Remote Contractor Position

$5,500–$6,500/month (based on experience and portfolio)

We’re a fast-growing marketing agency that works exclusively with high-performing junk removal and dumpster rental companies. We build powerful websites, run aggressive Google Ads campaigns, and dominate local SEO rankings. Our clients are entrepreneurs who expect real results — and we deliver.

We’re now looking for a Client Strategy Manager to become the face and voice of marketing strategy for our clients. You won’t be building campaigns or coding — you’ll be the trusted partner who keeps clients aligned, informed, and confident in the results we're driving.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of 30–40 SEO and Google Ads clients
  • Host onboarding calls, monthly performance check-ins, and ongoing strategy conversations
  • Gather key business information during onboarding to support our fulfillment team
  • Review SEO & PPC reports (prepared by our delivery team) and provide clear, confident insights to clients
  • Translate technical results into plain English — CPCs, CTRs, rankings, conversions, and business impact
  • Coordinate with our internal team to ensure client success and account health
  • Proactively identify potential issues, reset expectations, and guide the conversation with clarity and professionalism
  • Respectfully take control of client conversations when needed — ensuring clients feel heard, reassured, and guided without letting things go off track

Required Hours

  • Full-time, remote 1099 contract
  • Must be available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time (Monday–Friday)
  • Most client calls will happen within this window

What You Need to Succeed

  • 3+ years working in digital marketing (agency or in-house)
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads, SEO, and website performance — even if you're not a hands-on expert
  • Excellent communicator — you explain things clearly, confidently, and calmly
  • Skilled at respectfully taking control of conversations when needed — our clients can be fast-paced and demanding. You’ll need to lead conversations with tact, confidence, and reassurance
  • Experience building strong client relationships and guiding marketing conversations
  • Experience working with blue collar industries in a marketing role. Understanding these clients is critical.
  • Organized, proactive, and dependable
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently
  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and/or CallRail is a plus

What This Role Is Not

  • You won’t be building ad campaigns
  • You won’t be doing keyword research
  • You won’t be writing meta descriptions or editing landing pages

You’ll be communicating, coordinating, and advising — not executing.

Compensation

  • $5,500–$6,500/month (based on experience and portfolio)
  • 1099 contractor role (remote, full-time)
