Coastal Payroll is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Client Support Specialist III to join our dynamic Client Support team. As a Client Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless payroll processing for our valued clients. This position acts as the primary liaison for a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive support, training, and issue resolution.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Client Management: Oversee and manage designated portfolio of clients. This includes assisting clients with benefit renewal builds, working with brokers and client contacts to obtain all necessary benefit data, uploading employee data and enrolling employees in benefit plans, and ensuring clients have all necessary data in payroll platform for proper ACA reporting
  • Training and Support: Assist clients with the training and ongoing use of our web-based human capital management products, empowering them to maximize the system's capabilities focused on benefit management. Training clients on open enrollment function, train clients on how to utilize benefit administration and assist clients with trouble shooting and benefit discrepancies
  • Benefit Analysis: Help clients analyze payroll reports and develop reporting ls to meet business needs
  • Customer Service: Resolve incoming calls and support cases, delivering top-notch customer service with every interaction
  • Professional Development: Work directly under company management to deepen your benefits knowledge and become an expert in the field

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Industry Experience: Proven knowledge and/or experience in customer service and operations within benefits, ACA, payroll and human resources functions
  • Communication Skills: Strong phone and web-based customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Multitasking Ability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational Skills: Strong verbal and written skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Analytical Skills: Solid math and analytical skills to effectively support clients
  • Educational Background: A BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
