Climber/Ground guys

Overview
We are seeking energetic and motivated Climber/Ground Guys to join our dynamic team, dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the health and safety of trees. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, develop specialized skills in tree care, rigging, and equipment operation, and contribute to vital projects that improve community environments. Whether you're climbing high into the canopy or supporting from the ground, your efforts will help ensure safe, beautiful, and well-maintained landscapes .

Duties

• Safely ascend trees using climbing gear and rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal tasks
• Operate bucket trucks and bucket lifts to access elevated work areas efficiently and secure.
• Support ground crew in setting up equipment such as rigging systems, safety barriers, and tools for climbing operations
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment including bucket trucks, rigging gear, and hand tools to ensure safety and functionality
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all climbing and ground activities to prevent accidents or injuries

Qualifications

• Growing experience in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe climbing and material handling in trees
• Ability to operate bucket trucks safely and efficiently; certification is a plus
• Strong understanding of tree trimming, pruning practices
• Excellent physical fitness with the ability to climb heights comfortably and perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions

Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
