Tree Service Climber/Ground Guy

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Tree Service Worker to join our team in providing professional tree care and landscape maintenance services. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions to ensure the health, safety, and aesthetic appeal of trees and landscaped areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, growing experience, and a strong work ethic to support our mission of maintaining beautiful and safe outdoor environments.

Duties

• Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal using proper techniques and safety protocols
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment such as rigging gear for safe tree work
• Utilize GIS tools for mapping and planning landscape projects
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, and general upkeep
• Assist with land clearing, planting, and horticultural practices to promote healthy growth
• Ensure safety standards are followed during all operations, including the use of personal protective equipment
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Experience

• Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of rigging techniques and bucket operation is a plus
• Familiarity with GIS applications related to landscape planning is advantageous
• Growing experience in horticulture or related fields will be considered an asset
• Previous lawn care or landscape maintenance experience is beneficial
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and safety awareness

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
