Job Title: Clinic Facility and Technical Support Staff
Job Summary:
The Clinic Facility and Technical Support Staff is responsible for maintaining the clinic’s facilities, equipment, and support systems to ensure smooth daily operations. This includes routine inspections, basic technical troubleshooting, environmental monitoring, and assisting with CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) processes when required.
Key Responsibilities:1. Facility & System Maintenance
- Perform routine checks of all clinic areas including OT, laboratory, recovery rooms, CSSD, and common areas
- Monitor and maintain air conditioning systems, temperature, and humidity levels to meet healthcare standards
- Inspect electrical systems, lighting, and power supply to ensure proper functionality
- Conduct regular checks of water supply systems, filtration units, and plumbing for leaks or issues
2. Equipment & Technical Support
- Perform basic troubleshooting of clinic equipment and report issues to the concerned department
- Assist in monitoring medical gas systems, pressure levels, and related connections
- Ensure proper functioning of critical systems such as UPS, generator, elevators, and control panels
- Support IT-related checks such as CCTV monitoring and coordination with IT personnel
3. Environmental & Safety Monitoring
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Monitor fire alarm systems and safety equipment regularly
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of all facility areas
4. CSSD Support (Advantage)
- Assist in cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of medical instruments
- Support proper packing, labeling, and storage of sterile items
- Maintain sterilization logs and ensure compliance with protocols
- Follow strict infection control procedures at all times
5. General Support Duties
- Assist in preparing rooms before and after procedures
- Transport equipment, supplies, or documents within the clinic
- Report any maintenance issues immediately
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in facility maintenance, technical support, or healthcare support
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or maintenance systems
- CSSD knowledge or experience is a plus
- Basic IT knowledge (CCTV, systems) is an advantage
