Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Clinic Scribe to support healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical transcription skills, familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, and a solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. This role is essential in ensuring precise medical documentation, facilitating smooth clinical workflows, and enhancing patient care quality. Prior experience in a medical office or emergency room setting is highly desirable. Responsibilities

• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient examinations using EMR/EHR systems with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient histories, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans in real-time.
• Maintain comprehensive and organized medical records in compliance with privacy regulations and institutional policies.
• Utilize medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology knowledge to ensure precise documentation of complex clinical information.
• Support the clinical team by managing documentation workflows, including updating existing records and ensuring completeness of patient charts.
• Demonstrate proficiency in typing to facilitate rapid note-taking during busy clinic hours.
• Collaborate with medical staff to clarify documentation details as needed, especially during emergency room procedures or urgent care situations.

Experience

• Proven experience in transcription within a healthcare setting or medical office environment.
• Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems for efficient charting and documentation.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical records management.
• Prior experience working in an emergency room or urgent care setting is highly advantageous.
• Strong typing skills with the ability to transcribe quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
• Experience with medical documentation standards and compliance requirements is preferred. This position requires a dedicated individual committed to accuracy, confidentiality, and supporting high-quality patient care through meticulous documentation practices.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
