Clinical Analytics Reporting Specialist Senior

A Clinical Informatics Reporting Specialist develops, manages and analyzes clinical data to support decision-making processes and enhance patient care. This role acts as liaison between the business, clinicians, technology and the company to meet healthcare and clinical expectations and requirements. The Clinical Informatics Reporting Specialists Senior guides and advises less experienced healthcare/clinical business analysts. The position is competent to work at the highest level of most phases of systems analysis.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in a healthcare/clinical field, required. Graduate Degree, preferred. Masters degree in clinical/healthcare informatics.
  • Experience: Minimum five years of clinical experience in a Payor, Acute, or Ambulatory care environment e.g.: Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, required, Minimum 2 years of data analysis and interpretation experience, preferred.
  • Additional Skills Required: Detailed knowledge of clinical information and processes. Translates complex clinical data needs to developers, documents user requests, validates data, and analyzes data to support decision-making processes. Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare regulatory mandates and reporting requirements. Detailed knowledge of operations in the health care industry and a strong understanding of business processes. Ability to work with teams and direct an organized work effort. Competent to work on complex analysis assignments. Ability to work under deadlines and heavy workloads. Experience working with business intelligence and analytics tools. Understand the "why" behind data requests and recommend the most effective data solutions to meet those needs. Ability to work with all levels of healthcare personnel from senior leadership to entry level personnel across the enterprise. Ability to take part in development of strategies and interventions to affect cost and quality. Ability to identify trends and present complex data analyses into understandable terms to drive meaningful change and improve patient care. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with proven ability to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnerships. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
