Clinical Assistant

The Clinical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting doctors and therapists during consultations and procedures at Healthy Skin Co. This position ensures smooth clinical operations, high standards of hygiene, and a safe, comforting experience for patients. The ideal candidate is attentive, disciplined, patient-focused, and eager to work in a clinical and aesthetic healthcare environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Support

• Assist dermatologists and clinicians during consultations and procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after each procedure
• Ensure all instruments, machines, and consumables are ready and functional
• Support procedures such as laser treatments, peels, PRP, injectables, and minor dermatological procedures (as per training and supervision)

Patient Care

• Prepare patients for procedures and explain basic pre- and post-care instructions
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout treatments
• Monitor patients during and after procedures and report any concerns to the doctor
• Maintain a calm and reassuring environment for patients

Hygiene & Safety

• Follow clinic protocols for sterilization and infection control
• Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms, equipment, and clinical areas
• Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste as per regulations
• Adhere strictly to safety and hygiene guidelines

Inventory & Equipment Management

• Monitor stock levels of clinical supplies and consumables
• Assist in maintaining and cleaning clinical equipment and machines
• Inform management about low stock or equipment issues in a timely manner

Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain basic treatment and procedure records as instructed
• Coordinate with front desk staff regarding patient flow and schedules
• Assist doctors with clinical documentation when required

Required Skills & QualificationsEducation

• Diploma or certification in Nursing / GNM / ANM / Clinical Assistance
• Training in dermatology or aesthetics is an added advantage

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience as a clinical assistant or nurse
• Experience in a dermatology, aesthetic, cosmetic, or wellness clinic preferred

Skills

• Basic knowledge of dermatological procedures and equipment
• Strong understanding of hygiene and infection control practices
• Good communication skills and patient-handling ability
• Ability to work under supervision and follow protocols strictly
• Basic computer knowledge for record maintenance
