Job Summary
The Clinical Cardiology PACS Administrator will provide Cardiology application support and training to Heart and Vascular staff, providers, and various support staff. Additionally, they will act as a Cardiology PACS liaison between the Heart and Vascular Service Line and the IT Department.
Responsibilities
Core Duties
Specific Cardiologist support:
o Participates in the training of staff and is an ongoing resource for the Heart and Vascular Service Line.
o Under supervision, gathers and uses all available resources in assisting the cardiologists.
o Proactively and regularly performs rounding with Heart and Vascular staff to provide in-person and remote support. Take suggestions and requests from the staff to the Heart and Vascular leadership team.
o Merge images in Cardiology PACS o Corrects PACS anomalies.
o Sharing of images.
o Participates hands-on in the image sharing workflow as required. o Image sharing issue investigations.
o Train staff from multiple areas on image sharing workflows.

Experience
- MERGE Cardiology PACS experience required .
Working Conditions
- 5 days per week during working hours and potentially after hours for upgrades and go-lives as applicable.
- Standing and Sitting
- Travel to Mon Health System and Davis Health System required with remote work opportunity available. Ability to work in the cath lab or non invasive areas during the day if applicable.
Education
* Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program in Registered by the A.R.R.T RT(R) and WV Medical Imaging License or graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or graduate with an associate degree in information technology. * Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Registered by the A.R.R.T RT(R) and WV Medical Imaging License or graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or graduate with an associate degree in information technology. * Associate's Degree in Information Technology Registered by the A.R.R.T RT(R) and WV Medical Imaging License or graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or graduate with an associate degree in information technology.
