Clinical Coordinator & Doctor's Assistant: Mentorship in Pacific Heights
The Practice: A distinguished, high-end Plastic Surgery boutique practice in San Francisco with two exceptional Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons. We provide a "calm and human" patient-centric experience—no insurance, no assembly lines, just elite care.
Your Opportunity: Your Bridge to Medical, PA, or NP School
This isn’t just a front-office job; it is a hands-on Gap Year Experience. We are looking for a high-achieving student who wants to see the "real world" of medicine in a private practice. We offer a seat at the table in a respected private practice where you will learn the balance of clinical excellence and boutique business management.
Why This Role Stands Out:
- Direct Clinical Access: You won’t just be behind a desk. You will interview and screen patients, assist in exam rooms, and observe surgeries firsthand.
- Creative Ownership: Become the voice of the practice. You will lead our patient newsletters and social media posts, translating complex aesthetic procedures into engaging, educational content for our community.
- UCSF Faculty Mentorship: Work directly with surgeons who are actively teaching the next generation of surgeons at one of the top hospitals in the country.
- Ultimate Flexibility: We support your journey. Whether you need 3, 4, or 5 days a week to balance MCAT prep or classes, we can be flexible
What You’ll Do:
- Patient Concierge: Act as the face of the practice, ensuring a personalized, high-end experience from the first phone call to post-op recovery.
- Clinical Coordination: Manage the "big picture" of the practice, blending administrative leadership with hands-on patient interaction.
- Digital Engagement: Utilize your communication skills to draft newsletters and create professional posts that reflect the high standards of our brand.
- Practice Operations: Master the software and organizational systems required to run a distinguished, insurance-free private practice with a high-tech electronic medical record system.
Who You Are:
- The Future Provider: Ideally a Gap Year student applying to Medical, NP, or PA school. We are looking for at least a 1 year commitment, though longer is encouraged.
- A True Professional: You are extremely professional in appearance, words, and demeanor. You understand that in Pacific Heights, excellence is in the details.
- A Clear Communicator: You have a knack for writing and a creative eye for social media, digital newsletters, office education handouts, and patient communication.
- Experience: Background in aesthetics, hospitality, or customer service is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
The Essentials:
- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour + Bonus Opportunities.
- Perks: Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (No weekends).
