The Role
Join us at Gray Residential Services! We are seeking high-standard clinical professionals to join our growing team serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Both roles report to the Program RN and are essential to maintaining the "Gray Standard" of clinical excellence and waiver-based care in Indiana.
Option 1: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Clinical Coordinator
- Status: Full-Time
- Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year
- Focus: Clinical oversight, staff training, and field advocacy.
- Key Responsibilities: Review risk protocols, lead medication administration training for new DSPs, conduct on-site visits, and provide rotating after-hours on-call support.
Option 2: QMA – Clinical Medication Coordinator
- Status: PRN (As Needed / High Flexibility)
- Pay: Starting at $24.00 per hour
- Focus: Medication management, pharmacy relations, and quality auditing.
- Key Responsibilities: Monitor cycle fills/Paper MARs, resolve Prior Authorizations (PA), conduct on-site medication audits, and serve as a subject matter expert for staff.
Core Responsibilities
- Clinical Operations: Coordinate daily operations ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to healthcare protocols.
- Medication Excellence: Support medication administration, including injections and IV infusions, following strict safety procedures and HIPAA regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed medical records (Paper MAR) ensuring compliance with ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT coding standards.
- Triage & Assessment: Assist with client assessments and conduct triage for urgent medical issues, providing appropriate interventions or referrals.
- Specialized Support: Monitor client status during treatments such as catheterization, tube feeding, or ventilator management; assist with phlebotomy or sterile processing when required.
- Education: Provide health coaching on pain management, nutrition, and medication adherence to residents and their families.
Minimum Qualifications (Both Roles)
- Licensure: Valid LPN license or QMA certification in good standing.
- Logistics: Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license, current liability insurance, and a dependable vehicle for travel between sites.
- Compliance: Current negative TB test, American Red Cross CPR Certification and acceptable criminal history background checks.
- Character: Must demonstrate empathy for the individuals we serve and the ability to represent the department with tact and diplomacy.
