This position allows for partial telework with management approval.

Core Responsibilities:
Join the Maine CDC Breast and Cervical Health Program (MBCHP) and play a vital role in ensuring underserved individuals have access to life-saving cancer screening and diagnostic services. As a Medical Care Coordinator, you will be at the center of a mission-driven team working to reduce health disparities and improve early detection outcomes statewide.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated by meaningful public health work. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with healthcare providers, support patient care coordination, and contribute to a program that directly impacts lives.

Minimum Qualifications:
A four (4) year combination of education and experience in medical eligibility programs and/or experience which demonstrates interviewing and data gathering skills as needed to form basis for judgments in eligibility determinations, claims resolutions, and payment authorization.
