Clinical Director

About the Role

Resolute Recovery is seeking a Clinical Director to lead our outpatient substance use disorder (SUD) program. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring high-quality care delivery, and maintaining compliance with state licensing and accreditation standards.

You’ll play a central role in shaping program quality, supporting clinical staff, and driving strong patient outcomes in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead and supervise clinical staff including therapists, case managers, and group facilitators
  • Provide ongoing clinical supervision, training, and performance feedback
  • Foster a strong clinical culture focused on quality care and accountability

Program Oversight

  • Oversee intake, assessment, and treatment planning processes
  • Ensure delivery of evidence-based care aligned with ASAM criteria
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic treatment environment

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and The Joint Commission standards
  • Conduct chart audits and monitor documentation quality
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives and clinical outcomes tracking

Collaboration & Operations

  • Partner with executive leadership on program development and strategy
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff development
  • Maintain strong communication across clinical and administrative teams

Qualifications

Education

  • Master's degree required; Master’s preferred in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in a clinical leadership or management role
  • Experience in outpatient SUD or behavioral health settings preferred
  • Familiarity with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory compliance

Licensure

  • Active, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LICSW, LMHC, LADC, or equivalent)

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of confidentiality laws and clinical best practices

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
