Job Title: Clinical Supply Specialist

Location: North Chicago, IL (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract (1 year, with possible extension)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, standard business hours

Company Overview

We are currently seeking a Clinical Supply Specialist to support clinical trial supply operations and ensure timely delivery of investigational products.

Job Summary

The Clinical Supply Specialist will support the Clinical Supply Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing clinical supply activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely availability of investigational drug supplies for clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate clinical supply activities to support clinical trials
  • Support the timely availability of investigational drug supplies to clinical sites and depots
  • Translate stability and packaging requirements into executable packaging designs
  • Create and manage protocol-specific manufacturing and packaging work orders
  • Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Support inventory management system setup, including material master data and manufacturing requests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Analytical, and Supply Chain
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field such as pharmacy, chemistry, engineering, or life sciences
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in clinical trial supply or a related environment preferred
  • Understanding of clinical development and supply chain processes
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP or similar tools)
  • Experience supporting clinical packaging operations

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • inventory systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.): 3 years (Preferred)
