Position Summary

The Clinical Enablement Specialist, is responsible for the internal operationalization of clinical training for all non-GUIDE partnerships. This role acts as the bridge between Clinical Operations, Care Delivery Leads, and the Clinical Education department. The Specialist ensures that unique partnership requirements are translated into our standardized educational framework, maintaining consistency, scalability, and clinical excellence across the entire partner ecosystem.

Unlike a traditional patient-facing role, this position prioritizes the creation, translation, and delivery of high-impact educational content. Patient interaction is leveraged strategically to maintain workflow mastery and ensure that training materials are grounded in real world practice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Partnership Operationalization & Alignment

  • Implementation Lead: Serve as the primary 'Front-End' educational lead for new partnership launches, ensuring a seamless transition from Sales and Clinical Ops to training delivery.

  • Educational Liaison: Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Care Delivery Leads to translate operational partnership requirements into the standardized educational architecture maintained by the Back-End team.

  • Framework Application: Integrate partner-specific requirements into the standard PocketRN educational framework to ensure company-wide consistency.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with the Clinical Education team to align curriculum structure, evaluation methods, and LMS (Nevvon) management. Work closely with the Clinical Education Specialist (Back-End) to ensure partnership content adheres to the foundational framework, ensuring overall system scalability.

Curriculum Design & Clinical Teaching

  • Bespoke Content Development: Design and deploy rapid-turnaround training

    modules tailored to specific partnership workflows and emerging strategic initiatives.

  • Educational Execution: Lead and facilitate onboarding sessions, mock calls, and shadow visits for nurses assigned to partnership programs.

  • Resource Management: Maintain the "Nurse Toolbox" and educational repositories, ensuring partnership content remains an organized, up-to-date "source of truth."

  • Add to Curriculum Design: "Ensure all partnership-specific training modules remain rooted in PocketRN’s 'Nurse for Life' core values, maintaining cultural consistency across unique programs.

Quality Assurance & Scalability

  • Scalability Assessment: Evaluate and streamline the "handoff" process from Sales/Ops to Education to ensure efficient pilot launches and program growth.

  • Develop partner-specific competencies and conduct focused observations to validate training effectiveness and protocol adherence.

  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor frontline feedback and workflow changes to proactively close knowledge gaps through targeted educational updates.

  • Contributing to the ongoing design and optimization of the overall Clinical Education department structure

Clinical Mastery & Mentorship

  • Workflow Maintenance: Dedicate 0.1 FTE to direct clinical practice to ensure

    education accurately reflects current platform functionality and partner-specific workflows.

  • Transition to Practice: Serve as a mentor for new nurses, supporting clinical

    reasoning and workflow navigation to build confidence during the transition yo virtual care.

  • Preceptor Support: Participate in the broader preceptor lifecycle, assisting in

    readiness assessments and clinical sign-offs as needed.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Licensure & Education: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license;Compact licensure required. Other state licenses may be required upon hire. Master’s degree or strong equivalent clinical operations/education experience required.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience, with a proven background in clinical education, staff onboarding, or program coordination. Experience working in a Front-End implementation or enablement role within a high-growth startup environment is preferred.

  • Educational Expertise: Understanding of transition-to-practice frameworks, competency validation, and formal preceptorship models.

  • System Ownership: Ability to execute complex educational initiatives while

    contributing to process improvement and the design of scalable training systems.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Learning Management Systems (LMS), Google Workspace, and EMR systems; experience managing digital resource hubs is preferred.

  • Instructional Design: Skilled in translating technical clinical workflows into clear, engaging, and actionable training content for virtual environments.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional facilitation skills with experience collaborating across multiple internal departments to achieve strategic growth goals.

This is a remote, virtual position. The employee must be able to manage long periods of computer use and participate in video/audio calls daily. A stable home office environment with reliable internet access is required to support live orientation sessions and team meetings.
