Join our innovative team as a Clinical Imaging & Machine Learning (ML) Validation Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge medical imaging technologies and AI-driven solutions. This dynamic position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the validation and deployment of machine learning models in clinical imaging applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and safety of AI models used in healthcare settings, leveraging your expertise in data science, software engineering, and medical imaging. Your contributions will directly impact patient outcomes by enabling more precise diagnostics and personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize validation protocols for clinical imaging AI models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Lead model training and fine-tuning processes employing supervised and unsupervised learning techniques to enhance model performance.
  • Design and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for processing large-scale medical imaging datasets stored across cloud platforms like AWS and Hadoop.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to create efficient database schemas and ensure seamless integration of linked data sources for comprehensive analysis.
  • Conduct rigorous testing of AI models for deployment readiness, including natural language processing (NLP) applications in clinical documentation.
  • Utilize big data tools such as Spark and Talend to perform data mining, analytics, and visualization with platforms like Looker.
  • Document validation procedures, results, and insights clearly to support regulatory compliance and quality assurance efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), with additional experience in R or SAS preferred.
  • Hands-on knowledge of cloud services including AWS for model deployment and data storage solutions.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and ETL tools such as Talend for managing large datasets.
  • Expertise in database design using SQL or NoSQL databases; experience with linked data concepts is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of AI techniques including natural language processing (NLP), unsupervised learning methods, and model training strategies.
  • Experience working within healthcare or clinical environments is highly desirable.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
