Job Description

Academic Fieldwork Coordination and Course Instruction within the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.

This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered.

Key Responsibilities


The Academic Fieldwork Coordination (AFWC) is responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring affiliated clinical education sites; coordinating and maintaining student clinical rotations and records; providing students with regular, meaningful feedback on their progress in both clinical placements and coursework; and maintaining consistent communication with proctors and professional staff regarding student performance. In addition to overseeing clinical education, the AFWC plans, organizes, and delivers course instruction within the approved Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) curriculum, ensuring alignment with program standards and college policies. The role involves close collaboration with OTA faculty, program leadership, and college administration to maintain program quality, integrity, and effectiveness, while cooperatively supporting the overall management and continuous improvement of the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Occupational Therapy Assistant currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree program in a Healthcare/Education related field, with summer 2026 completion.
  • Currently holds Idaho Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy Assistant license, or eligible for license.
  • At least two (2) years of clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant that currently possesses a Bachelor's degree in a Healthcare/Education related field.
  • Four (4) years of clinical experience.
  • Teaching Experience with adult learners.
  • Fieldwork Educator experience with Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy Assistant students.

Additional Information

You must submit your CV/resume, cover letter, and list of three (3) professional references, including current contact information. This position will remain open until it is filled; however, priority consideration will be given to applications received on or before March 16, 2026. Salary will be between $55,000 and $65,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
