Clinical Lab Scientist - Part-Time

The Clinical Lab Scientist performs test procedures in blood bank, chemistry, blood gas, routine hematology, special hematology, routine coagulation, special coagulation, bone marrow/special stain section, urinalysis, microbiology and molecular microbiology. Must be able to work in a high volume, automated setting. Transcribes and reports test results and operates laboratory equipment as needed. Follows established quality control procedures and participates in all associated tasks in the section. The test menu will vary depending on the shift. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
