Clinical Laboratory Director

AiLife Diagnostics performs clinical testing and interpretation service for human genetic disorders. The company is headquartered in Houston.

POSITION TITLE: Clinical Laboratory Director

JOB SUMMARY:

• Review and sign out clinical laboratory report
• Monitor day-to-day operations of the data analysis and quality assurance process
• Develop, implement, maintain, and improve SOPs for laboratory standard procedures
• Partner with quality management team on QC and QA programs and ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state guidelines
• Design and implement validation studies
• Collaborate with IT team to design, optimize, and automate the data interpretation system

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ph.D. or M.D. degree
• ABMGG certified or eligible in clinical molecular genetics or Laboratory Genetics and Genomics (LGG)
• Experience in CLIA/CAP laboratory operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
