Clinical Medical Scribe

Job Overview
As a medical scribe you will be present during the physician’s visit with the patient and assist the physician with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient encounters with precision and efficiency, ensuring all relevant information is accurately documented in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Support the use of EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems by entering data swiftly and correctly to facilitate smooth clinical operations.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while working in high-pressure environments such as emergency rooms or urgent care settings.
• Collaborate closely with medical staff to improve documentation workflows and ensure clarity in patient records.

Requirements

• Proven experience with transcription, medical documentation, or working within a medical office environment.
• Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems preferably Eclinicalworks.
• Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed to keep up with fast-paced clinical environments.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
