Clinical Nursing Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Clinical Nursing Coordinator to lead and coordinate nursing care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. This vital role combines clinical expertise with administrative skills to ensure exceptional client care, streamline nursing operations, and foster a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate will spend two days per week on the inpatient floor (Friday & Monday 6am-6pm) providing direct client care and two days per week in the outpatient clinic (Saturday & Sunday 1130am-730pm) completing intakes and performing administrative duties. This role is perfect for a nurse who thrives in both hands-on clinical care and operational coordination.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, NCQA standards, and infection control protocols.
  • Work directly on the inpatient floor two days per week, providing patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and other clinical procedures.
  • Perform outpatient administrative duties two days per week, including intakes, scheduling, documentation, and coordination of client care plans.
  • Coordinate patient care by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including providers, therapists, and support staff.
  • Support Director of Nursing with assigned administrative duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid nursing license with current registration; prior experience in substance use, acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or Level I/II trauma centers preferred.
  • Proven experience in EMR systems and excel worksheets.
  • History of administrative duties; specifically coordinating client care.
  • Required certifications: BLS; ACLS preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to triage effectively and coordinate complex case management plans in fast-paced environments.

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
