To work as part of a team to assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of clinical pharmacy services in Pediatric Cardiology within the Pediatric Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (PCTU) and Congenital Heart Center (CHC) in the inpatient setting; to ensure and promote the safe, rational, efficacious, and cost-effective use of drug therapy; to provide leadership for Pediatric Cardiology services including developing guidelines and policies, staff training activities, developing quality improvement processes, and to assist in the clinical training of staff, residents and students.

This position will report to Pharmacy Manager- Children's and Women's Pharmacy Services
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Pharmacists provide functional supervision of technical staff, residents, and students working in their area including completion of job assignments and assuring adherence to institutional policies and procedures.
This schedule for this position includes day shift with a weekend and holiday rotation.
