Essential Functions:
Coordinate all aspects of clinical and epidemiological studies from initiation through delivery in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, faculty investigators, and other division and department staff along with external collaborators. Prepare study-related documentation such as protocol worksheets, procedural manuals, adverse event reports, institutional review board documents, data use agreements and progress reports. Maintain required records and ensure compliance with protocols, regulatory regulations, and overall study objectives. Record adverse event and side effect data and confer with investigators regarding reporting of events to oversight agencies. Utilize project management methodologies, lead cross-functional teams, resolve issues within studies, and ensure that all targets, timelines, budgets, and requirements are met.
1. Manage administrative components of research studies.
2. Meet regularly with Division research leaders to prioritize tasks.
3. Complete and maintain IRB, DUA and other essential documentation for all studies.
4. Ability to perform chart reviews and data abstraction.
The following job levels and associated pay rates will be considered based on job placement. Final placement, including the corresponding pay rate, will be determined by the department in alignment with business needs and budget considerations.
