Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including clinical interviews and standardized psychometric testing
- Diagnose mental health conditions based on DSM-5 criteria
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy, including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when required
Assessment & Testing
- Administer, score, and interpret IQ tests and psychological assessments (e.g., WAIS, WISC, personality tests)
- Prepare detailed psychological reports for clinical and/or medico-legal use
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated patient care
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with psychiatrists, physicians, and allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Participate in case discussions, clinical meetings, and audits
Education & Development
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and families
- Stay updated with the latest developments in clinical psychology and therapeutic approaches
- Participate in training, workshops, and continuous professional development

Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology
- Valid Qatar license (QCHP/DHP) as a Clinical Psychologist
- Must be locally available in Qatar
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare or hospital setting
