This position provides programmatic and operational support to Internal Medicine’s Research Units, including Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, and Rheumatology.
Working under the direction of the Clinical Research Supervisor, the Clinical Research Analyst will ensure high-quality research operations across units through internal monitoring, fiscal oversight, and study startup activities.
The incumbent will support and coordinate key components of clinical research projects from selection through activation and ongoing conduct. Responsibilities include budgeting and contract negotiation, submissions to internal committees, communication with stakeholders, quality review of participant records, internal regulatory monitoring, Oncore management, and reconciliation and tracking of study financials
Additionally, this position will contribute to the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with good clinical practice and regulatory requirements, perform quality assurance checks, help schedule and facilitate ancillary committee meetings, and support training and mentorship of junior staff.

Internal Medicine is comprised of 12 Divisions, and this role will help to support four divisions with startup activities and research finance assistance.

Work is performed independently and with consultative direction of the Principal Investigator, supervisor(s), and Research Team.
This position is grant funded with a hybrid schedule and may require overtime or on-call as necessary. The duties within this position may be subject to change based on business need.
