Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of children and contribute to a brighter and healthier future for all.Summary: The incumbent in this position acts as a support for clinicians completing EBP projects, conducts high level research for clinical and non-clinical staff, solves complex problems, and exercises judgment based on analysis of multiples sources of information. The incumbent must have the ability to explain difficult and sensitive information, as well as manage complex projects considering regulatory requirements and resources.Responsibilities: Engages with nursing and other disciplines across the health system to provide complex mediated searches and database assistance. Delivers instruction and consultations with nurses and other staff across the health system , in-person or virtually, emphasizing information literacy, finding quality evidence, critical appraisal of resources, and information/citation management tools (e.g., EndNote, Rayyan).Collaborates with nursing and other clinical leaders to develop projects including design, research, analysis and appraisal of information, and implementation of EBP initiatives; participates in initiatives to share and learn with a variety of audiences.Participates in the library’s collection management by collaborating with various disciplines throughout the organization to identify books, journals, and electronic resources necessary to support their research and evidence-based practice needs.Participates in professional and scholarly organizations and activities; pursue personal professional development; and maintain awareness of evolving trends in library and information
science.WORK EXPERIENCE* At least 5 years Job-related experience in research Preferred * At least 5 years Experience in a professional library position, preferably in healthcare Required EDUCATION* Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience in Library or Information Sciences from a program accredited by the American Library Association Required A Place Where You Belong We put our people first.
