What You’ll Do

  • Communicate with patients regarding appointments, scheduling updates, and program participation
  • Schedule and reschedule rehab sessions while ensuring proper clinical coverage
  • Coordinate with Rehab Specialists, Clinical Leads, Dieticians, and medical staff
  • Assist with onboarding patients and educating them on program expectations and equipment
  • Support intake processes, including guidance on monitoring devices (EKG, pulse oximeter, blood pressure cuff)
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues during virtual sessions and coordinate with IT as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
  • Help improve scheduling workflows and patient experience processes
  • Develop contingency plans for staffing gaps or scheduling conflicts
  • Deliver excellent customer service to a diverse patient population
  • Support program improvement initiatives and additional duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of Medical Assistant or similar clinical support experience
  • 2+ years of scheduling or care coordination experience
  • Cardiology or cardiac rehab experience preferred
  • Experience working with EMR systems
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Comfortable working onsite in Clearwater, FL
  • Strong patient-focused and compassionate mindset
