Job Summary
The Clinical Services Coordinator supports the Clinical Services and Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) team by assisting with audits, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and monitoring various clinical initiatives. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, promotes best practices, and contributes to continuous quality improvement across all clinical programs.
Essential Job Functions

Assists in planning, scheduling, and conducting internal clinical audits.

Collects, organizes, and analyzes audit data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Prepares audit reports and follow-up documentation.

Collaborates with clinical leadership to develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).

Tracks progress and outcomes of PIPs, ensuring timely completion and reporting.

Maintains accurate records and documentation related to improvement initiatives.

Monitors compliance with clinical protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Support implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.

Gathers and analyzes data to measure effectiveness of clinical interventions.

Serves as a liaison between clinical teams and leadership for quality-related activities.

Provides education and support to staff regarding audit findings and improvement strategies.

Assists in preparing presentations and reports for leadership and regulatory bodies.
Job Requirements
Education
-
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Experience
-
Minimum 2 years in a clinical or quality assurance role preferred.

Experience with audits, compliance, and performance improvement processes preferred.

Prior knowledge or experience with patient safety programs, Joint Commission accreditation, preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
Abilities Required
- Knowledge of basic principles, practices, and standards of clinical care, quality assurance, performance improvement and risk management

Must be able to evaluate, analyze, prepare, and present accurate reports using appropriate computer software

Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Familiar with the Electronic Health Record, and uses the Electronic Health Record for data analysis
