Who We're Looking For
The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing patient care as directed by the Director of Clinical Services. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, providing therapeutic individual, family, and group sessions, coordinating care with referral sources, collaborating with the treatment team, and assisting with discharge planning.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans within timeframe of level of care, using ASAM and/or LOCUS criteria.
  • Establishes rapport, gathers data, determines readiness for treatment and change, and applies accepted criteria for the diagnosis of substance use disorders.
  • Conducts individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Provides family education and counseling as indicated.
  • Documents individual, family, referent, and group notes per policy.
  • Complete all clinical documentation (assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries) accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Communicates with referents, mental health specialists, and other staff regarding patient clinical concerns.
  • Coordinates care and discharge arrangements in a timely manner per policy.
  • Adheres to HIPAA regulations and protects confidential patient information.

What You Need
  • Graduate from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field or master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited educational institution preferred in lieu of licensure.
  • Florida license to practice as a Clinical Therapist (e.g. LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or equivalent).
  • Clinical experience in substance use or behavioral health treatment.
  • Current CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
  • Must be eligible and successfully pass a Level II AHCA Background Screening
