Position Summary
Provides clinical services and therapy for clients impacted by behavioral health and substance use disorders. Provides case management services in treatment planning. Leads psychotherapy group, participates in treatment plan meetings.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1.Provides clinical services to behavioral health patients and their families.
2.Leads Psychotherapy group.
3.Maintain resource materials, community referrals, case management services.
4.Documentation includes psychosocial intake within 72 hours of admission. Update notes every 2-3 days and as needed, Master Treatment Plan.
5.Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Participates in department meetings, collaborates with Behavioral Health service line and Inpatient Care Coordination Departments.
6.Maintains/collaborates on departmental policies and procedures.
7.Maintains compliance with regulating bodies. Maintains compliance with Licensing.
8.Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Required:
Master’s Degree in Social Work
Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation):
Required:
Experience in Behavioral Health Services.
Preferred:
Three years social work experience, preferably in an inpatient/hospital setting
License, Registry or Certification:
Required:
New Jersey Licensure for Social Work, LSW or LCSW.
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
Required:
Strong clinical assessment skills and the knowledge and ability to respond to routine social work related inquiries.
Knowledge of local community resources.
Clinical training in psychotherapy and substance use.
Group facilitation
Crisis Intervention. Completion of Hunterdon Health’s approved behavior management training upon hire and annually thereafter.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to organize and prioritize, works effectively in stressful situations.
Clinician demonstrates knowledge of evidenced based practices in the provision of care included but not limited to: Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Universal Screening for SUD
