Clinical Support Assistant

We are a busy and growing podiatry practice in Commack, New York, dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality foot and ankle care. Our office is known for its friendly staff, efficient workflow, and commitment to excellent patient service. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Support Assistant/Medical Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients with professionalism and warmth
• Conduct patient intake, update medical records, and ensure accurate documentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms
• Clean and sterilize medical instruments
• Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies
• Assist during medical examinations and procedures
• Manage patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and phone communications
• Verify insurance information and assist with billing or payment inquiries
• Medically related clerical work /some computer knowledge required

Summary:

This position would start initially as a medical assistant learning office protocols, familiarizing yourself with terminology and office flow. Once proficient, the role would be expanded to include front desk and clerical tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
