THE POSITION

Community-Based Counselor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Brockton, MA (with home-based services)

Position Overview

Join TJocelyne Counseling & Consulting Clinic LLC (TJCC) as a Clinical Therapist. You’ll

provide compassionate, trauma-informed therapy to children, adolescents, and families.

Work within a supportive team of experienced clinicians committed to meaningful

mental health care and clinician wellness.

Licensed clinicians (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LADC)

Unlicensed clinicians pursuing licensure ( MFT, MSW, MHC)

What You’ll Do

COmmunity Based Family Therapy (Primary Responsibility):

Provide individual and family therapy using trauma-informed, evidence-based

approaches

Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments

Compled CANS

Develop individualized treatment plans

Monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed

Maintain detailed, accurate clinical documentation

Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality

Care Coordination:

Communicate regularly with families

Coordinate care with schools, pediatricians, and other providers

Manage insurance authorization and billing

Participate in team care conferences

Professional Development:

Participate in weekly clinical supervision

Attend team meetings and trainings

Engage in peer consultation groups

Pursue ongoing professional development

Team Participation:

Contribute to a collaborative, supportive team culture

Attend staff meetings

Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Support new staff and interns

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual Salary

$68,640 - $80,800 per year

(Based on education level, licensure status, and relevant experience)

Entry level with Master’s degree: $68,640

Master’s + licensure or 2+ years experience: $72,000-75,000

Master’s + licensure + 3+ years experience: $75,000-80,800

Full-Time Position: Year-round employment COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS PACKAGE

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications

✓ Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology,

or related mental health field

✓ Clinical experience in individual, child, couple and/or family therapy

✓ Strong assessment and treatment planning skills

✓ Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally competent care

✓ Professional communication skills (written and verbal)

✓ Reliability, integrity, and professional conduct

✓ Valid driver’s license (for home-based therapy visits)

✓ Ability to pass background check (CORI clearance in MA)

Preferred Qualifications

✓ Licensed (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, LPC) or actively pursuing licensure

✓ Experience working with trauma-affected children and families

✓ Medicaid/Community Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) experience

✓ Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English/Portuguse/French/ Haitian Creole especially valued)

✓ In-home or community-based therapy experience

✓ Experience working with families involved in child welfare/DCF

✓ Training in evidence-based trauma therapies (TF-CBT, Systemic Therapies, IFS)

Pay: $68,640.00 - $80,000.00 per year
