Close-out Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Close-Out Engineer / Handover Engineer to lead the successful completion and delivery of projects in Dubai. You will own the end-to-end project handover process, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations and local authority requirements.

*Key Responsibilities*

- Lead and manage the complete project handover lifecycle from initiation to final client acceptance

- Prepare and compile comprehensive handover packages including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, warranties, and test certificates

- Manage snag lists and punch lists, driving timely closure with site and subcontractor teams

- Liaise and coordinate with local authorities such as Dubai Municipality (DM), DEWA, RTA, and Civil Defense to secure completion certificates and NOCs

- Collaborate with project, planning, and QA/QC teams to ensure all deliverables align with contract specifications

- Maintain and update a structured close-out tracker to monitor approvals, submissions, and compliance records

- Ensure all documentation meets client, consultant, and authority standards before formal handover

*Requirements*

- 1–2 years of proven experience in project handover and close-out, preferably in UAE construction projects

- Strong knowledge of local authority procedures and submission protocols for DM, DEWA,

- Hands-on experience preparing O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and snag closure reports

- Proficiency in MS Office and handover/document tracking tools

- Excellent coordination, documentation, and follow-up skills

- Immediate joiners preferred
