Closeout Technician Position Overview:

The Closeout Technician role is a detailed technical position focused on facility optimization and equipment maintenance. This position requires someone with strong technical aptitude who can handle various equipment maintenance tasks and troubleshooting procedures across multiple systems.

Core Responsibilities:

The position centers around two main functions:

• Assessing and evaluating organizational physical space requirements
• Maintaining and ensuring the proper functioning of critical facility equipment

Equipment Maintenance Requirements:

Printer Maintenance

• Comprehensive understanding of printer operations
• Routine maintenance, including paper replacement and jam clearing
• Technical configuration tasks such as adding/deleting printers and replacing print heads
• Calibrating settings that affect price stickers
• Adjusting proximity sensors for price sticker functionality

Lid Machine Operations

• Loading and properly spacing lids on conveyor systems
• Adjusting sensors for proper lid pickup
• Operating external controllers with proficiency
• Troubleshooting lid machine issues as they arise

Closeout Procedures

• Operating computers and the Warehouse Control System (WCS)
• Managing price sticker bins and making necessary adjustments
• Handling floor-found products
• Managing overfilled or tipped totes

Strapper Machine Maintenance

• Replacing strap rolls as needed
• Clearing jams and resolving strapping issues
• Replacing machines when necessary
• Configuring proper speed and strapping settings

Shift Details: This position requires working Sunday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, or until all tasks are completed. Flexibility for overtime work is essential.

Minimum Requirements:

• 0-1 years of related experience (entry-level position)

• Technical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail for equipment calibration
• Problem-solving abilities for addressing equipment malfunctions
• Computer literacy for operating control systems
• Physical capability to handle equipment maintenance tasks
