Job Summary:

The Closer is responsible for the final phase of the medical billing process, ensuring all accounts are closed accurately and in a timely manner. This includes reviewing payments, resolving denials, initiating appeals when necessary, and coordinating with insurance companies and internal departments to ensure proper reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review insurance payments and denials to confirm account resolution.
• Ensure all claims are processed correctly and all follow-ups are completed.
• Initiate and manage appeals for denied or underpaid claims.
• Work closely with AR follow-up team to finalize claims.
• Post payments and adjustments when required.
• Conduct account audits to confirm zero balance and accurate processing.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Coordinate with payers, clearinghouses, and clients for claim closure.
• Document all activity in billing software clearly and accurately.
• Meet daily/weekly/monthly productivity and quality targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in U.S. healthcare RCM process, particularly in AR follow-up and denial management.
• Strong knowledge of insurance guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial payers).
• Familiarity with billing software such as EPIC, NextGen, eClinicalWorks, Kareo, AdvancedMD, or similar.
• Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with clients across multiple specialties (e.g., Radiology, Cardiology, DME, etc.).
• Certification in Medical Billing/Coding (CPC, CPB) is a plus.
• Experience with U.S. healthcare compliance standards.

Monday to Friday
6pm to 3am

Saturday Sunday off

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
