What You'll Do

Mission: Define the secure, cost-effective DR target architecture and ensure alignment with central IT and governance.

Core Responsibilities

• Own DR architecture principles, patterns, and guardrails for hybrid cloud.
• Translate business impact/RPO/RTO into platform designs and service levels.
• Produce HLDs/LLDs, security and networking reference models, and data protection patterns.
• Govern designs, exceptions, and change requests; lead design reviews and sign-offs.
• Establish cost baselines and optimization guardrails (with FinOps).
  
  

Required Experience

• 8–12+ years architecture in hybrid environments; prior DR strategy and design leadership.
• Track record of secure, auditable designs in regulated settings.
  
  

Skills

• Requirements decomposition, threat/risk framing, TCO/ROI modeling, concise design documentation, stakeholder facilitation.
  
  

Certifications

• Required: Senior cloud architect cert (e.g., solutions architect).
  
  

Preferred: Governance/security (e.g., ISO 27001, risk), ITIL v4.

Deliverables

• Target architecture, security & compliance controls, data protection strategy, design authority processes, cost guardrails.
