Role Overview
The Multi-Cloud Chief Architect will lead the technical architecture, delivery frameworks, and engineering standards required to establish the Multi-Cloud Practice.
The role will define architecture standards, migration frameworks, platform engineering models, DevOps automation, and FinOps governance across AWS, Azure, and GCP aligned with the defined work packages.
Key Responsibilities
Work Package 1 – Strategy & Architecture Alignment
Define enterprise multi-cloud architecture framework and standards.
Design reference architectures for landing zones, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud workload placement.
Define security, networking, identity, and governance standards.
Work Package 2 – Operating Model & Cloud Governance
Define architecture governance framework and design review process.
Establish technical standards for AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms.
Align architecture frameworks with ADC operating model and governance structure.
Work Package 3 – Capability Build & Asset Development
Develop Cloud Migration Factory model for large-scale migration programs.
Build DevOps and Platform Engineering frameworks including CI/CD and IaC.
Create reusable assets including:
Architecture blueprints
Automation scripts
Deployment templates
Security baselines
Develop implementation playbooks and operational runbooks.
Work Package 4 – Go-To-Market & Pilot Execution
Support solution architecture for pre-sales and client proposals.
Conduct customer architecture workshops and technical solution reviews.
Provide architectural governance during pilot project implementations.
Work Package 5 – Transition & Knowledge Transfer
Mentor ADC cloud architects and engineering teams.
Deliver architecture documentation, frameworks, and reusable assets repository.
Support knowledge transfer and transition of architecture ownership to ADC.
Required Skills
Deep expertise across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Experience in multi-cloud architecture, migration strategies, and hybrid environments.
Strong experience in:
Kubernetes & container platforms
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
DevOps & CI/CD automation
Platform engineering
Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud platforms and migration programs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering.
10–15 years experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure engineering.
Experience working on large enterprise cloud transformation programs.
Preferred Certifications
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Google Professional Cloud Architect
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
TOGAF or Enterprise Architecture Certification
