SUMMARY:

The Cloud/ Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the technical infrastructure that supports our software applications. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing, automation tools, and infrastructure as code. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a passion for optimizing complex systems.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructures.
  • Lead cloud migration projects and continuously optimize resource usage
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline operations.
  • Implement robust backup strategies and ensure business continuity
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Document processes and maintain compréhensive technical documentation.
  • Work closely with DevOps, security, and development teams to align cloud solutions with business goals
  • Provision cloud resources and experience with automated configuration tools

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in platform engineering or a related role.
  • Proficiency and certifications in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

This role requires you to live within the United States.
