Responsibilities:
- 5-7 years of experience in Platform, Cloud, Software Engineering, or relevant technical roles, with a focus on AWS and a strong understanding of other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Strong Individual Contributor: Build tools, frameworks, and automation to streamline workflows and accelerate product delivery.
- Cloud Landing Zone: Lead the evolution of secure, governed, and scalable cloud architecture.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive engineering excellence by mentoring teams and fostering best practices.
- Security & Compliance: Define and implement robust security measures in collaboration with compliance teams.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Align product, engineering, and business teams to ensure successful system delivery.
- Technical Debt: Identify, prioritize, and remediate organizational technical gaps and debt.
- Solve Challenges: Address complex, organization-wide technical problems with innovative solutions.
- Strategic Influence: Act as a subject matter expert in high-level technical and business decisions.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and SRE best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns and frameworks, microservices, containers, and serverless computing.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for automation and infrastructure management in AWS, as well as IAC like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and identity and access management (IAM) in cloud environments.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts, including expertise in designing cloud-based solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
- Proficient in performing in-depth analysis, complex technical troubleshooting, and problem resolution
- Ability to mentor and influence engineers and peers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
- Experience working within geographically distributed organizations.
- Professional written and interpersonal skills.
- AWS Or Azure certifications (AWS Solution Architect, Developer, etc) are a plus but not required.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred

As Cloud Platform Engineer III you will help build and evolve our software delivery practice by developing and simplifying processes, tooling, and automation as part of our overall engineering strategy. You will work alongside our engineering teams to both modernize our legacy applications and create net new cloud native applications and services. You will engage in the development of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) projects, CI/CD pipeline automation, and integrating test practices into every phase of the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will possess strong technical and mentoring skills, with a history of delivering on complex technological initiatives.
