Junior/Intern DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application uptime.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate code and automate workflows.
• Help implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and best practices in system administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, cloud platforms, and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Exposure to Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Understanding of networking basics and system security practices.
