Cloud Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Min at least 3.5 years of experience working in AWS cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, ELB, CloudFormation, Lambda.
Experience with Linux/Windows administration in cloud environments.
Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancing, firewalls, routing).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
Good problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Good to Have (Optional)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Experience conducting AWS Disaster Recovery (DR) drills and managing AWS DR sites.
Experience with multi-account AWS environments and Control Tower/Organizations.
Familiarity with cost optimization tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor.
Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers – Docker/EKS/ECS).
