The Cloud Engineer - Azure (L2) is responsible for delivering Azure-based Professional Services with a focus on cloud migration, landing zone deployment, hybrid networking, and optimization initiatives.
This role requires hands-on experience in real customer environments, supporting end-to-end Azure implementations and ensuring successful delivery across migration and transformation projects.
Responsibilities:
Migration & Modernization

Execute workload migration projects including:
-
On-premises (VMware / Hyper-V) to Azure
-
Azure to Azure migrations
-
Other cloud platforms to Azure
-
Perform Azure Migrate assessments, including right-sizing and cost analysis
-
Plan and execute migration and DR scenarios using Azure Site Recovery (ASR)
Azure Platform Deployment

Design and deploy Azure Landing Zones aligned with governance and architecture standards

Conduct brownfield assessments of existing environments and recommend optimization strategies

Implement cost optimization measures aligned with Azure best practices
Networking & Connectivity

Design and implement hybrid networking solutions including:

Site-to-Site VPN
-
Point-to-Site (P2S) VPN
-
ExpressRoute connectivity
-
Configure and manage network security appliances (FortiGate or similar)
Containerization & Platform Services
-
Deploy and manage workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Delivery & Support
-
Work directly with customers to deliver Professional Services engagements

Provide L2-level troubleshooting and support for Azure environments

Collaborate with internal teams for solution design and delivery
Requirements

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure

Proven experience in customer-facing delivery projects

Strong hands-on experience in:

Azure Migrate (Assessment & Migration)

Azure Site Recovery (ASR)

Azure Landing Zone deployment

Migration scenarios (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure-to-Azure, multi-cloud)
