Cloud & Infrastructure Operations Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure & Operations Engineer responsible for managing and supporting enterprise infrastructure, system operations, and cloud environments. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, security, performance, and smooth day-to-day operations across on-premise and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain infrastructure environments including servers, storage, virtualization, and networks.
• Administer and support cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including provisioning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Perform system operations (SysOps) such as user management, patching, backups, upgrades, and performance tuning.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications to ensure availability, reliability, and performance .
• Respond to incidents, perform troubleshooting and issue resolution , and conduct root cause analysis.
• Support deployment and environment readiness for application teams.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
• Ensure systems comply with security standards and best practices .
• Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with DevOps, network, and security teams for infrastructure improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Infrastructure Operations, System Operations, or Cloud Operations roles.
• Hands-on experience supporting production environments .
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux system administration .
• Experience with cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
• Experience with monitoring tools and system health checks.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes .
• Basic scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) are preferred.
