Cloud Linux Engineer

Overview:
Support and optimize Linux-based servers and open-source environments, with emphasis on security and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Administer Linux servers supporting public website, security, and open-source development.
• Implement OS patching, configuration, and monitoring.
• Support Azure-hosted workloads and hybrid cloud environments.
• Provide security hardening and compliance with FISMA/NIST standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Linux administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, or similar).
• Experience with Azure cloud, hybrid environments, and open-source toolsets.
• Strong scripting (Bash, Python) and troubleshooting skills.
• Security+ or equivalent preferred.
