Threat Modeling and Assessment
Security Pattern Development
Practical experience conducting threat modeling for cloud or distributed systems.
Experience performing security design reviews and identifying architectural weaknesses.
Ability to translate threat findings into preventative, detective, and corrective controls.
Strong understanding of cloud security architectures in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with common threat and control frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS, CAPEC, CWE).
Roles & Responsibilities
The Cloud Security Pattern Engineer develops structured threat models for cloud services.
The role translates threat modeling outputs into reusable security patterns aligned with established enterprise
standards and embeds them into the organization’s threat modeling and certification platforms.
The position strengthens consistency and scalability of cloud security evaluations
Salary Range- $85,000-$100,000 a year
