Cloud Support Engineer

A Cloud Support Engineer (24x7) provides continuous technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-based infrastructure, platforms, and services, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and prompt resolution of customer issues at all hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain cloud systems to ensure availability and performance round-the-clock.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, security, deployment, and application performance.
  • Provide technical support via multiple channels (email, chat, phone) and handle incidents, change requests, and escalations, collaborating with cross-functional teams when required.
  • Assist clients with cloud service onboarding, configuration, and migration, including root cause analysis and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles, documentation, and best practices for internal and customer use.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Stay current with cloud technologies, trends, and best practices. Engage in process improvement and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with proficiency in virtualization, networking, and security.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with system administration (Linux, Windows), scripting, and automation tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and handle tasks independently.

24x7 Coverage Requirements

  • Engineers must be available for shift-based work, including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, to ensure uninterrupted support for customers globally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per year
