We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Support Engineer with strong expertise in AWS to join our client team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across all AWS environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, hands-on implementation experience, and a solid understanding of cloud disaster recovery strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support for AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring system reliability and performance

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across AWS services and environments

Implement, configure, and maintain AWS resources including EC2, RDS, VPC, Redshift, and related services

Ensure all AWS resources are regularly updated, patched, and aligned with best practices

Support and implement Cloud Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and ensure readiness for failover scenarios

Perform root cause analysis and provide timely resolution for production incidents

Collaborate with internal teams to optimize cloud architecture and performance

Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures

Ensure compliance with security standards and cloud governance policies
Key Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience working with AWS cloud environments

Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, RDS, VPC, Redshift, etc.)

Proven experience in Cloud Disaster Recovery planning and implementation

Solid troubleshooting skills within AWS environments

Good working knowledge of Linux systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification is preferred
Preferred Skills

Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)

Familiarity with monitoring tools and cloud cost optimization practices

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus
