Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is looking for a Club Lounge Ambassador to join our Club Lounge team.

As Club Lounge Ambassador, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Provide attentive, personalised and refined service within your assigned section of the Club Lounge, ensuring a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure.
Carry out any other reasonable responsibilities as assigned by the Club Lounge Manager or hotel leadership in support of operational excellence.
Ensure all administrative duties, filing and operational documentation are completed accurately and kept up to date.
Remain a committed team player, proactively supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive, professional and high-performing work environment.
Support the Club Lounge leadership team in welcoming and assisting VIP guests, ensuring personalised recognition and service excellence at all times.
Collaborate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, Room Service and all Food & Beverage departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.
Assist with stock control and operational supplies, including linen, beverages and dry goods, ensuring items are stored and replenished appropriately.
Maintain strong product knowledge, including allergens and dietary requirements, and communicate guest preferences clearly to kitchen and management colleagues.
Handle billing, cashiering and posting procedures accurately, ensuring all charges are correctly updated prior to guest departure in accordance with hotel policies.
Promote outlet offerings through refined upselling techniques, enhancing the guest experience while supporting revenue generation.
Ensure all dishes and beverages are presented according to hotel specifications, brand guidelines and Food & Beverage quality standards.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, ambience and exclusivity within the Club Lounge, ensuring both front and back of house areas reflect Mandarin Oriental excellence.
Create memorable WOW moments through thoughtful gestures and proactive engagement, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
Deliver service with professionalism, warmth and efficiency, anticipating guest needs through active listening, observation and attention to detail.
Support Supervisors in the completion of daily operational checklists, ensuring service readiness, consistency and adherence to luxury standards.
Ensure all mise-en-place, side stations and service areas are impeccably prepared and maintained throughout the shift, including polishing, cleaning, restocking and equipment organisation.
Demonstrate full knowledge of the Club Lounge concept, culinary offerings, beverage selections and service rituals, confidently explaining these to guests and enhancing their experience.
As Club Lounge Ambassador, we expect from you:
High School qualification or equivalent is preferred.
Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is preferred.
Experience in a high-volume The Club Lounge with highest levels of service is preferred.
Luxury hotel experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as senior waiter / chef de rang.
Ability to understand guest needs and to deliver superior customer service.
Ability to work long hours with a strong focus on operational excellence.
Familiar with The Club Lounge point of sales and cashiering procedures is preferred.
Knowledge of dining and lounge service procedures and standards.
Ability to understand the flow of service and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Basic computer skills including MS Office is preferred.
Fluent in verbal and written English language is essential.
Verbal and written skills in Arabic is preferred.
Verbal and written skills in Russian, German or French is preferred.
