Ensure the Club Lounge consistently delivers an exceptional Food & Beverage experience in alignment with Mandarin Oriental Legendary Quality Experiences (LQE), Forbes Travel Guide standards, and the hotel’s service philosophy.
Oversee the seamless daily operation of all Club Lounge culinary offerings, including breakfast, afternoon tea, light refreshments and evening cocktail service, ensuring impeccable presentation, timing, and guest engagement.
Drive departmental performance by supporting the achievement of key operational KPIs, including guest satisfaction, quality assurance benchmarks, service consistency, and revenue opportunities.
Lead by example through an active floor presence, providing continuous guidance, service coaching, and real-time feedback to uphold the highest levels of luxury hospitality.
Ensure the Club Lounge environment reflects exclusivity and refinement through rigorous attention to cleanliness, ambiance, maintenance standards, and overall presentation.
Maintain full compliance with all food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety regulations, ensuring a safe and immaculate guest environment at all times.
Champion a culture of excellence by supporting ongoing training, development, and Forbes/LQE readiness initiatives, ensuring colleagues are confident, knowledgeable, and service-driven.
Conduct regular quality checks of lounge setups, buffet displays, service stations, and equipment, ensuring all standards are met and consistently exceeded.
Act as a key liaison with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Room Service, Concierge and all Food & Beverage departments to ensure seamless communication and immediate follow-up on guest needs or operational priorities.
Support the Club Lounge Manager in performance management, colleague engagement, scheduling, and operational planning to maintain service excellence across all touchpoints.
Proactively handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism, discretion, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
Assume responsibility for the Club Lounge operation in the absence of the Club Lounge Manager, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery and adherence to Mandarin Oriental standards.
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a luxury 5-star hotel environment.
Minimum 2 years’ Front Office/Guest Relations experience in a luxury hotel.
Strong command of Microsoft Office, PSMS, GoConcierge, HotSoS, and Rex.
Hotel pre-opening experience is an advantage.
Middle East experience is an advantage.
Russian, German or French speaker is desirable.
